 According to family folklore... While working as a Pullman porter on the Underground Railroad, my great granduncle George "Brutha" Hubbud came across a patch of wild bushes full of a strange fruit he had never seen before. These special chilies were used to give this sauce its unique flavoring. This highly flavorful sauce is a favorite and has become a key ingredient in many cherished recipes. It is with pride that we present this sauce for your enjoyment and use in your favorite recipes...

Established in 2003, Uncle Brutha™ Gourmet Foods, a division of Four Gem Enterprises, LLC (FGE) has captured the essence of what consumers have desired in a hot sauce for decades. Internationally, consumers have been experiencing new flavor combinations in hot sauce products. We pride ourselves on having developed a tantalizing combination of heat and flavor beyond what "heat aficionados" have ever savored.
 Now, FGE introduces Uncle Brutha's™ Gourmet Hot Sauce. A product line featuring a special blending of fresh chilies and garlic creating one of "the" most unique and satisfying eating experiences ever. None compare to Uncle Brutha's™. For our initial entry we have introduced our Chile Verde Garlic and Ginger Fire Sauce No. 9™ and Four Chile and Garlic Fire Sauce No. 10™ with six exciting new flavors slated for introduction mid 2008.
It is with great pride that we announce that on September 10, 2004, Uncle Brutha's Fire Sauce No. 10™ was awarded the red ribbon for second place in the 2005 Fiery Foods Challenge at Chile Pepper Magazine's Zest Fest 2004 in Fort Worth, Texas.
