Brennan G. Proctor (a.k.a. Uncle Brutha) has always been drawn to cooking. Being from a family where the men were just as comfortable preparing the family meal as the women, it seemed only natural.

When presented with the opportunity to participate in the Reading is Fundamental program in grammar school, among his choices was a cookbook.

He would then go on to take advantage of every opportunity to learn the necessary skills needed to comfortably maneuver his way around a kitchen.

This month, to introduce our Featured Chef page we are featuring Uncle Brutha himself and two of Uncle B's favorites.
